ara II large cushion
our ara II ink drawing was inspired by traditional maori harakeke (flax) weaving, used in toitoi thatch ceiling panels. ara is the maori translation for a line of weaving. the ara II print is part of the guardian collection.
guardian embodies the perfect imperfection of the natural world and highlights the subtleties in tones, textures, colours and shapes found in these ethereal locations. guardian celebrates the contemplative, meditative qualities surrounding these places that have been enjoyed by generations.
