Bleed block (for Shimano)
Getting shops to bleed your brakes can be bloody expensive. Why not bleed them yourself? Hereâs a bleed block to space out the pistons of your Shimano brake during the bleeding process. There are different sizes of bleed block, make sure you get the right one!
We provide 3 types of bleed blocks for Shimano brakes. If your brake has 4 pistons, proceed and get a 4 piston model. If your brake takes Shimano road brake pads (K04S, L03S) then you'll need the road model. For everything else our 2 piston model should do the trick.
Before you finish your purchase, make sure youâve got all the equipment to bleed your brakes. You'll need the following:
A bleed kit or just a bleed funnel (if youâve got the other tools hanging around)
Some mineral oil
A bleed block
