Ipu Whenua (Placenta Holder)

Ipu whenua are a lovely all natural and biodegradable option to bury and return your pēpi placenta and muka pito tie to Papatūānuku (Mother Earth).

They’re beautifully hand woven from harakeke by the talented Maryrose Rangihuna, and tied off with muka and finished with Paua shell.
