Native Phoenix Oyster Grow Kit (Free Shipping) MycoLogic

A ready-to-go mini mushroom farm with free urban shipping anywhere in New Zealand (non-urban delivery fee $6). These large sized kits (4.5kg commercial size production block) consist of a mix of organic substrates (sawdust, straw and seed hulls) which has been colonised with a native strain of phoenix oyster mushroom (Pleurotus pulmonarius) and they're a great way to grow a good few crops of mushrooms at home with ease.

Being a native species well adapted to local conditions, these kits can be grown at any time of year without supplementary heating. Growth will be slower in cooler conditions, but the quality and flavour of cold-grown mushrooms is excellent.

The first step when you recieve your grow kit is to take it out of its box and cut some slits in the bag where it is marked out for you. Kits need to be taken out of their box and 'activated' within two weeks of recieving them (store in their box and in a cool place until ready to use)
