Putiputi chain

Marsden Flower (or Putiputi) Pounamu chain.

The Pounamu has been set in sterling silver, which has been oxidised (darkened) and then sanded to reveal the silver on the higher points.

The back of the piece has been left open so that the Pounamu can rest against your neck/chest.

The handcrafted chain is 45cm long and can be adjusted to be shorter if needed.

Marsden Flower Pounamu is from the Marsden, West Coast area. This stone is a light green shade. It is one of the rarest varieties, held in high esteem by Māori. The yellowish clouds throughout are mesmerizing.
