Italian Flat Bean

Compares to Snow Bean. Tasty and tender, broad, flat, light green Heirloom Italian climbing bean. Excellent steamed, stir-fried and for freezing. Late producing, similar to Wonder of Venice or Scarlet Runner, the plant may die back to a stump in winter in warmer coastal climates and re-sprout in spring but is best treated as an annual. Prefers a well-ventilated position that is watered over the dry summer months.
