You may not know it but we Kiwis have a somewhat strange attraction to a small, rare flightless bird that scrabbles around in the dark, risking life and limb in a quest for survival in our bush. It can't fly, can't really see very well at all but is tough and fast and quite a survivor!

A fun piece - beautifully carved by a master carver.

is a large piece, carved with Fumio's signature attention to detail, his creativity and his ability to take a raw piece of material and transform it into something quite special.

One side has a kiwi skeleton carved into it - a stunning replica of the essence of our beautiful native bird. While the other side displays a wonderful Fern leaf and Fumio's signature.
