- Hand carved from Cow Bone - this is a beauty!

A fun piece - beautifully carved by one of New Zealand's finest bone carvers - FUMIO NOGUCHI.

Carved from cow bone, is quite the masterpiece. Fumio's fascination with traditional netsuke carving is evident here. The subject is a snail resting on a piece of bamboo. The snail is carved in minute detail, the bamboo slightly curved and with the recognisable bamboo ring. Fumio has also added three leaves and his signature on the back. This is a wonderful piece of art. The material is very robust so if you would choose to wear this piece it is made for this. Alternatively, it will make a wonderful little display piece.
