ATA RANGI Rose 2023

Delicious and dry is how we love our Rose. In 2021 all fruit was sourced from the Wairarapa with portions of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Merlot as the base of the wine, with smaller parcels of Syrah and Pinot Gris to bring complexity.

The nose has a wonderful array of aromas: peach, blood orange, elderflower, pomegranate, and a savoury note of pecorino cheese. The palate is smooth and supple with notes of cinnamon, blood orange and a hint of sea spray. Bright acidity holds all the flavours together giving vibrancy and length. This is a wonderful summer wine and, due to its more savoury style, a great pairing with food.
