This garment is inspired by the story of the Patupaiarehe. The multi-coloured garment symbolises the array of colours found in Aotearoa’s forest.

This handwoven garment is a taonga that can be passed down through generation to generation and can be worn or hung as a wall art display.

All of our weaving pieces aim to perpetuate, promote and preserve Māori culture, through traditional and contemporary Māori art.
