The Hootenanny Cowl has been designed to be light, but with plenty of woolly squish - perfect for autumn adventures. A simple textured diamond pattern that is just enough to be interesting, but easy enough to ‘just get on and knit’.

Choose to knit the Hootenanny Cowl as a short loop - that’s enough for once around your neck, or knit the longer loop and you’ll be able to wrap it around twice for even more warmth.

Designed for our Paihamu 4ply merino possum knitting yarn. Paihamu 4ply is a plump yarn with a light haze, if you would like to substitute for another yarn, we recommend trying either a 4ply held together with 2ply silk mohair; or an 8ply yarn.

The Details: Here’s all you need to know to get you started - but don’t get too hung up on the small print. You’re knitting a cowl after all - if it turns out to be a little bigger or a little smaller than what we have, don’t worry. As long as you can get it over your head - all is well.
