The Pīwakawaka is as quintessentially Kiwi as…well, the Kiwi! All over New Zealand, gardens are alive with the rustles and squeaks of Fantails, their titular tails visible in brief flashes of white. It was a no-brainer to make a wooden Fantail, with such a charming and instantly familiar shape, they’re a dream to design, and even more fun to put together! Our Pīwakawaka is cut to ensure that assembling it is as playful as the bird itself, and the end result is a work of art that makes any house feel like a home.
