Delft Sand Casting Taster- 2.5 hr

This is a short and fast Delft Sand casting taster experience, consisting of 2.5 hrs of hands on learning.

Come spend two hrs in my studio, and use my delft sand equipment to cast one piece in Sterling Silver and finish it by hand with my help and guidance.

This 2.5 hr taster is for one person only. For more than one person please book the small group or Masterclass options.

What can I learn/make?

You will be shown how to use the Delft Sand Casting Method, to imprint a form into a two part mould filled with sand, then pour molten silver directly into that sand, creating a silver version of said form. Small gemstones can be added and cast in place.

No prior knowledge is necessary, Maca will guide you closely through the entire process, guaranteeing your success.

The expected outcome is one cast piece in Sterling Silver; a ring, a pendant or a small object.

The taster experience includes:

- 10 grams of Sterling Silver 6
- The use of a Delft Sand tools & materials kit
- The use of all tools & equipment in studio to professionally finish your piece by hand.
