Italian artist, William Berni lives and works in Switzerland in his personal atelier near Lugano. He is certainly one of the most promising talent in the urban environment, loved among collectors and the general public. William Berni’s works are parts of the wall, which from the street find their maximum expression on the walls of the house. The details, such as aesthetic minimalism and the representation of the wall, are the main aspects of these works that reflect the lapse of time between the sending of an input and the response, between those who put a graffiti on the wall and those who observe it during the course of time. Through layers of glue, plaster, spray and acrylics, he reproduces the wall on canvas by adding graffiti and stencils, gluing and tearing posters, dirtying the surfaces as if they were worn by time.
