KAWS - Man's Best Friend Hardcover Book

This 2016 KAWS hardcover book titled 'Man's Best Fiend' coincided with the artist's Man's Best Friend print portfolio release, which included 10 prints depicting Snoopy and Charlie Brown in black & white scribble drawings, similar to what is seen on the cover of this book. The first half of the book includes an essay by gallery director Corrina Peipon followed by black and white installation views and full color illustrations of all seventeen works in the 2014 exhibition, complementing the play between black and white and color paintings in the exhibition. The second half of the book comprises full-page illustrations of each of the fifty works on paper in MAN'S BEST FRIEND, the centerpiece of the exhibition. A great addition to the living room coffee table or KAWS collection. 128 pages.

Brian Donnelly, known professionally as KAWS is a multi-faceted artist straddling the worlds of art and design in his prolific body of work that ranges from paintings, murals, and large-scale sculptures to product design and toy-making.
