BANKSY - Flower Bomber Sculpture

This sculpture features one of Banksy's most well known images, the Flower Bomber, in 3D form. The duality of an anarchist throwing a bouquet of flowers is signature Banksy with his clever thought provoking style. It is made from polystone to give it a more quality feel and stands almost 16 inches high. It is produced by top figuremaker Medicom in conjunction with Sync and Brandalism. 2017. Unknown edition size (limited release). Comes with original box.

Size: 35 x 35 x 8cm.

Whether plastering cities with his trademark parachuting rat, painting imagined openings in the West Bank barrier in Israel, or stenciling “We’re bored of fish" above a penguins’ zoo enclosure, Banksy creates street art with an irreverent wit and an international reputation that precedes his anonymous identity. Banksy has gained his notoriety through a range of urban interventions, from modifying street signs and printing his own currency to illegally hanging his own works in institutions such as the Louvre and the Museum of Modern Art. Most often using spray paint and stencils, Banksy has crafted a signature, immediately identifiable graphic style—and a recurring cast of cops, soldiers, children, and celebrities—through which he critically examines contemporary issues of consumerism, political authority, terrorism, and the status of art and its display.

Brandalism is a revolt against the corporate control of culture and space. They are an international collective of artists that challenge corporate power, greed and corruption around the world.

Intervening into ad spaces that usually celebrate consumption, Brandalism use ‘subvertising’ as a lens through which we can view the intersectional social & environmental justice issues that capitalism creates.

Their interventions, exhibitions and workshops aim to agitate, educate and facilitate those who want to challenge corporate power.
