Pink & White Terraces Teardrop Large 11335

Considered the 8th Wonder of the World, these giant staircases or waterfalls were formed as silica-rich water flowed down the hillside from boiling geysers. The Pink and White Terraces were the original New Zealand tourism destination until they were buried in the 1886 eruption of Mt Tarawera.
