Book press - small

A restored vintage book press, ready for use. The rimu platen on this model is 305 x 250mm, and the daylight gap is 83mm.

This is a wonderful addition to a bindery for its convenience in pressing newly bound or restored books flat. You'll also find other uses as well - these presses are great for making padded notebooks, making firm creases in folded pagesets and making thick book boards.

Made of cast iron and repainted in black and gold, this press is very heavy and over the normal limit for courier deliveries. We can negotiate freight costs and delivery options upon purchase. Delivery to West Coast centres and some South Island locations may be made easily but long haul destinations in the South and inter-island locations will require delivery by courier or a freight company.
