We have multiples of these seconds. They all look very similar and in photos they look exactly the same - we are just very fussy and they didn't make the quality check!

They are seconds because some of the panels were sewn with the "wrong side" of the fabric facing out. It sounds dramatic, but sometimes it is hard to tell as this fabric is extremely similar on both sides. It doesn't have an obvious right and wrong side. It was not picked up until they were finished being made. We just have very high standards & didn't want to sell them for full price.

Another practical, carefully considered Klay item, this unisex hat is made from a hemp/ cotton slub canvas, a durable textile that can withstand the rigours a well-loved hat goes through. Though the hat itself is one size, an adjustable drawstring and the brass toggle helps personalise the fit. The hat is lined with a soft cotton calico and finished with binding, which makes for beautiful detailing, emphasising the handmade quality and making it a special hat for everyday enjoyment.

Size: One size. Circumference around the crown/ brim is 60cm, brim is 7cm, height from brim to top of hat is 9.5cm.
