Hogwire is aluminum wire screening with a plastic coating, which is used as a waterproof cover for for use on set that is easy to mould into your desired shape. It is commonly used to protect lighting fixtures and other sensitive equipment from the rain on location.

In addition it can be used as a Diffusion, Hogwire is also used in make Cucolorises (Cello Cookies).

(Caution) When placing Hogwire close to a lighting fixtures, the plastic will burn and melt at temperatures over 200°C.
