Kathryn resides in Nelson with her husband where they raised their two sons.

Bought up by an artistic father she was encouraged to explore her natural creative abilities. As a self taught artist she draws her inspiration from pacific landscape, objects and native birds working in acrylics with layers of colour and texture to give the viewer a feel of depth.

Kathryn has had numerous successful exhibitions throughout and internationally.

Nightwatchers uses mostly dark colours with hints of white, offset in a white boxed frame.
