Long-Lasting Multi-Purpose Medium

Vermiculite is a useful multi-purpose medium that provides excellent aeration and drainage to your potting mix while still retaining nutrients and moisture, and the finer grades are commonly used as a seed covering to retain moisture and help improve seed germination rates. Unlike Perlite, vermiculite contains trace amounts of calcium, magnesium and potassium.

Please note: This Grade 4 Vermiculite is the larger, more coarse size and while it will be great for aeration and drainage in potting mixes, it may not be ideal for your seed cover.
