Stone Wool Cubes

Stone wool is a natural mineral product made from molten basalt which is then spun into fine fibres, creating a sterile, inert media with excellent aeration and moisture retention properties, making a favourite amongst growers for starting seeds and cuttings. Simply saturate the stone wool, drain it off, place seeds or cuttings into the cubes, and wait for the roots to develop. Once you have roots emerging from the cube, simply transplant the cube to another substrate, or for small plants you can place them directly into your hydro system.
