Kawakawa Leaf Necklace

A distinctive heart shape leaf, Kawakawa, from the Maori word Kawa, meaning bitter', has been used throughout Maori history as a tea for medicinal purposes. Kawakawa leaves are also traditionally worn after the loss of a loved one.
