The Highlanders 2025 retro jersey, is inspired by the 97/98/99 era which saw the Highlanders fight back from a forgettable 12th place finish in ‘97 to semi-finalists in ‘98 and finalists in ’99 under the guidance of Highlander’s legend, Tony Gilbert as Head Coach (1998-99). This jersey was worn by Highlanders’ stalwarts such as Taine Randell, Josh Kronfeld, Anton Oliver, Tony Brown and Jeff Wilson.
