First Aid Plus - Birds

DOSING
For first aid situations, while waiting for veterinary assistance, follow the following advice:
Dose: 1 or 2 pumps into the open mouth. Wait 5 minutes and repeat as needed. Stop doses as soon as the symptoms ease.

A dose consists of 1 or 2 pumps of remedy into the bird's mouth, the remedy does not need to be swallowed, it just has to contact the tongue. For small song birds, 1 pump is sufficient. For poultry and larger birds, 2 pumps per dose is recommended.

You may request a spray cap rather than our standard serum pump if you prefer. (Make a note during checkout).

Dose with spray cap: 2 sprays over the head. Wait 5 minutes and repeat as needed. Stop doses as soon as the symptoms ease.

Note - First Aid Plus is only available in pump bottles (not jerry cans) because depending on the circumstances a stressed bird may not eat or drink, so dosing needs to be directly into the mouth. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
