Clearance Native shrubs. They are well grown plants surplus to requirements. They will make a stunning native garden, hedge, shrubbery, or shelter belt and are tough enough to survive most conditions.
This pack is made up as follows:
20x Golden Tree Daisy - Olearia Solandri - A nice shrub with small green-yellow leaves. It is good for fast-growing shelter and hedging in dry situations or exposed windy sites. Produces masses of small white flowers in late summer which have a vanilla scent. Very hardy. Mature Height 3m x Width 2m
20x Coprosma Black Cloud - A very hardy ground covering shrub with colourful bronze/black foliage. Masses of blue berries making it very attractive to birds. Excellent for supressing weeds and tollerant of almost any conditions. Mature Height 50cm x Width 1m\
20x Ribbonwood - Plagianthus Regius - A tall growing column tree with strong upward growth. It has a light airey appearance and forms strong vertical structure. A 'must have' for establishing new native garden, extremely fast growing and particularly useful for quickly establishing shelter. Withstands strong winds, tolerates wide range of conditions. Ideal in shelter belt. Mature Height 10m
20x Cabbage Tree - Cordyline Australis - A 'must have' Tree with very distincitive strap like leaves, upright in the centre and drooping on the outside, formed into unusual heads on crooked branches. Very hardy native tree suitable for most conditions. Tolerant of wind, full sun and drought, wet/swampy conditions, frost once established. Excellent shelter in windswept, coastal or alpine areas (mix with flaxes). Mature Height 3-5m
20x Coprosma Greyii - A tough colourful and interesting alpine shrub with grey green foliage, and an interesting angular growth form. Bears berries attractive to birds. Can be clipped into an interesting hedge or allowed to grow freely will become a dense medium sized shrub. Withstands harsh conditions, poor soil, wind and dry conditions. Mature Height 2m x Width 2m but clip at any size for hedge.
