FREE Dance Class + Sunset swims (Gemma Lee x Funk Society Collab)- Thursday, 19 January

Gemma Lee & Funk Society are teaming up to bring you the coolest FREE event of the summer!

Grab all your mates and join us for a 1 hour Dance class followed by a sunset swim, all at Oriental Beach.

The dance class will be super energetic (aerobic style) and each track will be to a funky beat from a mix of Dance Hall, Afro, Brazilian Funk or Latin Urbano. A fantastic way to get moving you'll get a full body workout! Maddy's classes are all about a sense of community and all bodies are welcome, whether you're a beginner or seasoned pro or you workout daily or annually - you'll have the best time.

Once we've got our heart rates up and worked up a sweat, we will go in for a sunset swim and have some hangs. Feel free to bring some kai and a picnic blanket and make the most of it!

Instructions

We will be based by the concrete blocks to the left of the kids beach at Oriental Parade - you'll see the Gemma Lee flag there. You'll need some water, comfy clothes for dancing (shoes are recommended for the sand but optional), togs and a towel. Optional to also bring some kai or light snacks and a picnic blanket.
