Large Dark Porohita Disc Pendant

The Porohita is 48mm in diameter. The back of the Porohita is slightly shaped/scalloped so that it is comforting to rub while being worn.

The Porohita is carved from pounamu we have collected from the Rimu area just South of Hokitika on the West Coast of the South Island.

The Porohita has an extremely strong, waxed nylon cord so the pendant can be worn ALL the time - even in any kind of water. It is a special, hand platted, round, 4-plait cord. The cord is adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.

The Porohita / disc represents the circle of life which has no beginning or end. In life the opportunities are endless so with this pendant you can achieve whatever you want to in life.
