Silver Drop Earrings "Kowhai"

As soon as I opened the packet of these earrings I thought "Kowhai".

These beauties are created through a process called "electroforming". This is the process of coating an object (usually hollow) with silver. Solid silver would be very heavy and difficult to wear - not to mention very expensive. Eletroforming allows larger silver shapes to be created while still remaining lightweight.
