Arthur James Northwood (1880--1949) established a studio in Kaitaia in 1910 which he operated until his death in 1949. He took many p hotographs of the Far North, including images of gum digging, kauri logging, farming, and views of Kaitaia, Rawene, and other towns in the area. These photographs are a wonderful snapshot in time that show life in the Far North in the early 1900s. Quality print, framed beautifully in natural wood behind glass, 375mm x 485mm
