Widely used in Asian cuisine, star anise has a unique licorice-like flavour and is most commonly known for promoting healthy digestion and supporting the immune system.

Its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antibacterial actions make it useful in supporting a healthy immune response during colds/flus, and help to reduce congestion in the respiratory tract.
