With a prominent place in Asian cuisine, the fresh and aromatic qualities of Lemongrass make it particularly distinctive. Also known as ‘Fever Grass’, the plant was traditionally used for breaking fevers due to its heat dispelling actions.

Lemongrass has strong antibacterial, anti fungal and antispasmodic properties, making it a great choice for fighting infection and soothing digestion by relaxing the muscles in the gut.

The antioxidants present in the leaf help to support a healthy environment in the gut, and the high citral content of the plant has numerous benefits, including aiding healthy metabolism and insulin levels.
