Kawakawa is a native heart-shaped herb that has been long used in rongoā (traditional Maori herbal medicine) for its versatility and ability to support many ailments.

It has numerous traditional uses - both internally and externally. Due to its carminative and spasmolytic actions, it is said to be a great tonic for the digestive system.

Like other plants in the pepper family, it supports healthy circulation and is also known to have warming and blood purifying properties. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
