SUPPORT ENERGISE
Tangy and slightly sweet in taste, hibiscus is an antioxidant rich plant which is widely used in food, beverages and herbal medicine.
Hibiscus is known to gently support the cardiovascular system, immune system, and metabolism. Certain polyphenols in hibiscus benefit mitochondrial function, energy homeostasis, and protection of the cardiovascular system, which gives the plant its reputation as a 'heart tonic'.
The flowers are very high in Vitamin C and bioflavonoids, with important flavonoid phytochemicals quercetin and anthocyanins both being revered for their anti-inflammatory benefits. Combined with its antibacterial and antiviral properties, this makes hibiscus a great herb to support a healthy immune response.
