Our Kendi terracotta vessels are inspired by traditional Sumatran double-spout drinking vessels. The porous terracotta allowed water to 'sweat' through the Kendi - the evaporation cooled the remaining contents, very clever! These are ornamental pieces selected for their unique form and beauty.
