The NY avant-garde art rockers return with an instrumental soundtrack recording for the film by French director Fabrice Gobert. The results are every bit as enthrallingly out of step with the group's "mainstream" catalogue as previous Sonic Youth Records releases, but fashioned into something that's perfectly coherent, and really quite a delightful listen.
