Skeptics - Sheen Of Gold

 

Directed by Simon Ogston (‘Rumble & Bang’ ‘Gone With The Weird’), ‘Sheen of Gold’ tells the story of the SKEPTICS one of New Zealand's most influential and innovative bands, that throughout the 1980s combined traditional instrumentation with electronic sounds to make some of the best music this country has produced.

Initially premiered at the 2013 New Zealand International Film Festival – the documentary is now available on DVD, packaged in a cardboard wallet, featuring a pull out poster. While the DVD features bonus extra scenes and live footage including visits to the former Gluepot and Snailclamps, band members Nick Roughan playing Agitator and Mamouth on the piano, John Halvorsen's guitar collection and an explanation of the Amalgam cover,

plus live tracks including;
