“I can safely say I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a plastic dish brush — or even another eco-option"
– Anna, Wooden Dish Brush Customer

100% natural dish brush made from beech wood (FSC certified) and natural tampico plant fibres.

The tampico plant fibres are very resilient and polish & scrub without scratching.

The head of the brush is designed with a curve to easier clean glasses and for optimised brushing in general.

The handle of the brush is made from sustainably forested beech wood. PLEASE SEE NOTES BELOW ON HOW TO MAINTAIN.

The entire wooden dish brush is natural and so will naturally biodegrade in nature.

Zero plastics or microplastics involved. This wooden dish brush is your ideal sustainable alternative to plastic dish brushes.

Wood has also shown to breed less bacteria than synthetic materials.

How to maintain the brush:

It's designed to last for a long time. You can clean the brush with hot water and soap.

The wood is NOT treated, so it could be victim of mould if not looked after correctly. Please dry the brush with the head facing up and in a ventilated place - for instance in a little container on your bench or just stand it up in your sink with bristles facing up.

The brush needs air to dry through. If it is left in a cupboard or with the bristle head facing down, the water will not evaporate and you could end up with mould on the wood.

We have chosen not to treat the wood to keep it as natural as possible, so please beware of this.

TIP: you could try to add some oil from your kitchen pantry on the brush to protect it.

We recommend using the dish brush with an Eco Cloth for your complete plastic free cleaning.
