Rin Pendant Lamp Shade // Diamond

Designed by ONO Rina, this pendant lamp shade is delicately made with washi paper in the Gifu Prefecture of Japan. The shades are provided flat-packed and feature a C-shaped ring on the top which a conventional lighting flex can be threaded through.

To set up the shade, gently extend the shade out to full tension, then lightly spray with water from a spray bottle to slightly dampen the shade (don't spray too much you don't want it to be soggy, it is delicate paper and that may rip it.). Allow to dry, this stiffens the extended lampshade into its shape.
