MD Blank Notebook

First developed in the 1960s as Midori’s original diary paper, the MD paper used in these notebooks has continuously gone through quality improvement until today. The paper is adopted for writability and is fountain pen friendly as well as preventing smearing or bleeding through easily. Keeping the writer’s comfort in mind, the Midori MD Notebooks allow you to write down ideas freely as they come to you, or even using a double page as a canvas for your thoughts. Purposely designed with no cover but instead with a cheesecloth mesh tape appended to the spine in plain sight, a coloured bookmark and an index label sticker, these 176-page notebooks are designed with a minimalist approach for ease of use to enhance the enjoyment of writing. This MD notebook is created using traditional thread-stitched book-binding methods, with 16 pages of paper folded into a bundle and stitched down the spine for durability and a perfect lay-flat design opening to 180 degrees. The Grid notebook is available in A5, A6 and B6 sizes and comes wrapped in a cover sheet of paraffin paper to guard your notebook against dirt and grime.
