The Tama shirt was made in collaboration between Everyday Needs and well-known sustainable clothing brand, Mahsa. Tama is a word in Te Reo Māori meaning ‘boy,’ which encapsulates the essence of playful masculinity, fostered by feminine energy.

Structurally, Tama unifies typically feminine and masculine lines and renders them genderless. Constructed from 100% Organic Cotton and made by the talented hands of the team at Mahsa here in Aotearoa, the Tama shirt is a unisex, everyday shirt for everyone.

Everyday Needs offers a range of functional, timeless and quality items for the home which are curated thoughtfully free of context to enable our customers to visualise them in their own spaces. This is what we sought to achieve in creating Tama – a shirt that does not dictate the body it clothes or the environment in which it is worn, but rather leaves the vision with the wearer.
