Batch 3 of Isle of Arran's Lagg Distillery Inaugural Release is a heavily peated single malt that was finished in ex-Rioja casks and bottled in 2022. Aromas of earthy peat, delicate minerality and toasted oak spice fill the nose, complemented by notes of ripe berries, dark fruit, bold peat smoke, green herbs and sea salt throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.

Nose Distant, damp bonfire, oaky vanilla, a touch of dusty cocoa powder.

Palate Earthy peat is joined by cocoa nibs, hedgerow berries, and a touch of salted vanilla fudge.

Finish The earthy peat lingers, with drizzles of salted caramel. 50
