Lagg Inaugural Release Batch 2 Sherry Finish Bot.2022 Whisky 700ml

Batch 2 of Isle of Arran's Lagg Distillery Inaugural Release is a heavily peated single malt that was finished in ex-oloroso sherry casks and bottled in 2022. Aromas of earthy peat smoke, sweet toasted nuts, cocoa and sticky fruitcake fill the nose, complemented by notes of chewy toffee, red fruits, creamy vanilla, bold peat smoke, salted caramel, bonfire embers and toasted oak throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.

Nose Smouldering camp bonfires, a touch of milk chocolate, dried vine fruits, and cacao nibs.

Palate Earthy peat smoke is joined by silky caramel, dried prunes, and warm cinnamon.

Finish Bonfire smoke lingers, along with gentle tannins, and baking spices. 50
