This is a compatible DC04 hepa filter that fits below the bin. It measures 152mm in diameter. There will be a rubber filter seal on the machine located under the filter. If not you can add a DC04 Hepa seal Also known as exhaust filter or post filter. Located at the bottom of the machine. This filter should be replaced every 5 years This filter should be replaced when the motor is replaced
