Kaka + Manuka tee

doodlewear 'Kaka Manuka' (March 2023) art print K aka tshirt which is a special collaboration between two of our talented doodlewear contributing artists, Lesh McNicholl of Lesh Creates and Penny Royal of Penny Royal Design. These high-quality t-shirts feature a contemporary yet retro-style art print of a Kaka parrot bird in the Manuka flowers. Lesh illustrated the Kaka using acrylic paint, coloured pencil and Indian ink pen and Penny drew and coloured the Manuka flowers digitally. The artists have digitally signed this unique artwork.

"We both appreciate each other's art styles and had a strong desire to collaborate. With a plethora of art elements from our respective bodies of work, we carefully selected the ones that complemented each other the most. Penny skilfully intertwined our art in a playful manner, creating a harmonious fusion."
