2020 Bodegas Roda Sela Rioja Crianza

A classic Rioja blend of Tempranillo with a little Graciano and Garnacha, this comes from the smaller Rioja Alavesa region above the Ebro. Bodegas Roda are a young, innovative winery working to make very high quality wines that speak to tradition but are not bound by it. This crianza comes from their younger vines - 15 to 30 years old. Its been aged in French oak and retains a fresh red fruit flavour. There is spice and tannin complexity; all beautifully integrated. This is smooth, silky elegant drinking which reminds you just how special really good rioja is.
