Cloud Chamber Kit

A simple but effective apparatus that tracks radioactive particles made visible by alcohol droplets condensed from cooled alcohol vapour. Cloud Chamber comprises: - Clear plastic lidded chamber, approximately 100mm diameter, - Paper blotter sheets, - Pin sources of alpha or beta particles. Additional materials required: - Ethyl or Methyl alcohol, - Light source (flashlight), - Liquid nitrogen or Dry ice.
