Originating from the Portuguese word ‘barocco’, the term baroque is used to describe irregular, asymmetrical shaped pearls making each unique pearl ‘perfectly imperfect’ and a great modern alternative to traditional round pearls.

We source our pearls from a reputable, family owned New Zealand based supplier. These cultured freshwater pearls are grown in the lakes and rivers in China.
