The Coil Wave Spring features steady elasticity at any compression level, and little deformation under repeated compression. This results in precise drag adjustments throughout the curve, giving the angler more control.
X- Protect is a water resistant technology that combines water repellent treatments and a labyrinth type structure to suppress the entry of water.
By placing sealing gaskets in 12 critical locations through out the rigid aluminum body. we are able to create a water resistant structure that can hold up against the toughest conditions, and fish that Mother Nature has to offer.
From the body design through to the most intricate parts of the drive train including the drive gear worm shaft, worm shaft pin and worm shaft gear, every piece has been carefully reviewed. Consequently, the smallest clearance gaps and wobbles have been eliminated to the highest tolerances.
With Infinity Drive, the Pinion Gear does not make contact with the Main Shaft, as high-sliding bushing supports the main shaft and sliding resistance is reduced. Infinity Drive cuts handle rotation torque by about30 percent in comparison to the conventional system, and makes the reel more powerful.
The 'Heat Sink Panel', where the heat generated by drag is released. stops any decrease in drag performance, due to thermal sagging, by around 50per cent. The 'Insulation Sheet', which blocks heat transfer to the spool, prevents spool temperatures from increasing by around 30per cent.
Through tens of thousands of casting tests and computer simulations it has been determined that this new AR-C spoollip design provides longer casting distances than a standard spoollip design while preventing backlashes and wind knots from forming. It also allows the line to flow off the spool in smaller loops during the cast, which means less slap on the stripper guide. This means longer casts.
